General Policy
At The Box Doctor Ltd, we take pride in the quality of our repair and maintenance services. Our goal is to ensure every customer is satisfied with the work performed.
Refunds
Due to the nature of repair services, refunds are generally not provided once work has commenced or been completed. Refunds will only be considered where:
-
No repair, diagnostic, or maintenance work has been carried out on the vehicle; and
-
No parts have been supplied or labour incurred.
Payment is typically requested after completion of the work, and issuing a refund is therefore only relevant in cases where no work has been performed. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, where applicable.
Rectification of Work
If a customer is dissatisfied with the workmanship, the standard process is to rectify or redo the affected work rather than issue a refund. Any rectification work will be undertaken as promptly as reasonably possible, at no additional charge, provided the dissatisfaction arises from workmanship or service quality, not subsequent damage or misuse.
Customers must notify The Box Doctor Ltd promptly if they believe rectification is required, so we can assess and address the issue.
Additional Notes
All rectification or repair works will be carried out in accordance with our standard procedures and UK best practices for vehicle repair and maintenance. Storage, parts, or additional labour costs arising from circumstances outside the control of The Box Doctor Ltd may not be covered under this policy.
For clarity, this Refund and Rectification Policy applies to services provided at our physical premises in Liverpool. Online enquiries or communications do not constitute a contract for service until the vehicle has been assessed and agreed upon in person.
Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect or limit any statutory rights you may have under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any other rights provided under applicable legislation. These rights include, but are not limited to, the right to receive services performed with reasonable care and skill, and to have services completed within a reasonable time and for a reasonable charge.
